Performance Dates:
October 16th - 31st, 2025

Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00pm
Saturdays at 2:00pm

Sundays at 6:00pm

 

Auditions Protocol:

Auditions will consist of readings from sides of the selected scripts, but prepared one-minute "horror" monologues are encouraged.  Interested actors who cannot attend the auditions can email a video of a prepared monologue to submissions@shelterbelt.org.

 

Rehearsals:

Rehearsal begin mid-September.  The show requires an ensemble of eight or nine, with each performer expected to perform in at least three vignettes.  A full Tech Day will be the weekend of October 11th with the schedule to be determined at a later date.  The rehearsal schedule is subject to change depending on actor conflicts.  All conflicts provided in advance will be accomodated but no conflicts are allowed after October 1st.

About the Show

Shelterskelter returns this fall.  It's an energetic evening of Halloween-themed short plays.  Nine Nebraska playwrights have provided dynamic vignettes in a wide variety of subgenres and styles.
