Actor allowance for A Very Special Holiday Special is $400.

 

Synopsis: Christmas and Hanukkah meet each other and laugh in this lively entertainment.


Audition sides will be provided. Please bring a current picture of yourself along with an updated resume.  We are looking for a cast of 6 actors; we encourage performers of all races and ethnicities, gender identities, abilities and ages to audition.

A Very Special Hanukkah Special

  • Actress 1 (Kim) – sense of humor, realist

  • Actress 2 (The Boy) – street kid, on the run Caroler

  • Actress 3 (Judy Maccabee) – tough, bossy Caroler

  • Actor 1 (Narrator) – enthusiastic storyteller, grounded, know-it-all Caroler

  • Actor 2 (Murray) – idealistic, mad as hell, wants to make everything the way it is supposed to be until he finds out it is not supposed to be, a mensch

  • Actor 3 (Max) – mature, over worked, on edge


Oh, Tannenbaum

  • Christmas Tree – self involved, upper class, fabulous, been around, rootless

  • Liebowitz – Nice guy, surprised by life
