SHOWTIMES:

  • Thursday/Friday performances: 7pm

  • Saturday performances: 2 pm

  • Sunday performances: 6pm

PAY WHAT YOU CAN TICKETS:

At Shelterbelt Theatre, we believe that live theatre is essential and should be available to all. To reduce financial barriers to arts participation in our community, we have adopted a “radical hospitality” ticketing structure. In the spirit of radical hospitality, you choose what you pay for your tickets. We have a standard ticket price that reflects the true cost of producing our work, but you may need to pay a little less or even wish to pay a little more to help us keep our doors open to all. There is no difference in service or seating among the price levels. It’s a small theatre; there are no bad seats!


A “pay what you can” ticket option will be available for at least 30% of our seating inventory for every performance of every show. If you can’t swing the standard ticket price, we’ve got you! We welcome all to the Shelterbelt Theatre.

HOUSEKEEPING:

​

  • The theatre lobby opens an hour prior to curtain time.

  • The house opens for seating 30 minutes prior to curtain time.

  • We accept cash, check or credit card at the door. Credit card   reservations may also be made in advance at our online box office. 

  • Water and soda are available for purchase and may be enjoyed in the theatre.

  • We are not a full-time staffed box office.  We are all volunteers here, and we appreciate your patience.  If you have questions about your reservation, please contact:  boxoffice@shelterbelt.org

  • Come early for best parking options.  There are two parking lots on the North and East side of The Omar.

  • Seating is first come, first served, unless we have over 40 reservations, and then we will create a seating chart to accomodate all our patrons.  If you require first row seating for any reason, please tell us and we will reserve seats for your party for that performance.

  • Reservations are honored until 10 minutes prior to curtain.  If you're not there AND there's a waiting list, then your reservation may be given away at the discretion of the house manager.  

  • Reservations cannot be guaranteed if made via email or phone 2 hours pre-show time. 

  • If you miss a performance you paid for, we will try to reschedule your reservation for another night. If  you're unable to attend, please email:  boxoffice@shelterbelt.org and we will convert your payment to a tax-deductible donation. All reservations are held until 10 minutes before showtime.  We are unable to offer refunds, unless we have cancelled a performance.
