Performance Dates:
January 29th - February 15th, 2026

Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00pm
Saturdays at 2:00pm

Sundays at 6:00pm

 

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals begin mid-December and are typically held for 2-3 hours, Sun - Fri between 6:00pm and 10:00 pm.  A full Tech Day will be on Sunday, January 25th. The rehearsal schedule is subject to change depending on actor availability.  Rehearsal conflicts provided in advance will be accommodated, but no conflicts are allowed after Monday, January 19th, 2026.

About the Show

In Frozen Charlottes, four women fear for their safety during a 1958 killy spree in Nebraska.  When their city is ordered into lockdown, the women are trapped in a house together where they grapple with issues of identity, race, neurodiversity and power, discovering that the danger inside the home may be far greater than the one outside of it.

 

Character Descriptions:

Nora, 45

Black passing as white and the lady of the house.

Ione, 45

Black, strong-willed and Jubilee's mother.

Mitzy, 48

White, meddling lush and Nora's neighbor.

Announcer, 40's

White, Kronkite-esque and is a voiceover

Officer, 30's

White and a policeman.

Audition Protocol:

Auditioners should arrive 15 minutes before auditions to complete an audition form if not completed online. A resume with information on prior acting experience is welcome but not required.

 

Auditioners should be prepared to list known conflicts from mid-December through February 15th.

 

Auditions will consist of readings from the script.  These can be requested along with any questions to Scott Working at scottaworking@gmail.com.
