ABOUT THE SHOW
David is the only child of a psychologist(Garth) and a psychology professor (Claire) who live in Lincoln, Nebraska. As his parents’ marriage hits the rocks, his mother also loses her teaching job. When she does land another position, it’s in the Canadian province of Ottawa. From there, it’s just a short leap to love and laughter, exploration of self and relationships, and the politics of marriage. Truly a musical memoir of life in the 1990’s and a dual coming-of- age story, told with love and lots of laughs. This is the Omaha premiere of MY MOTHER’S LESBIAN JEWISH WICCAN WEDDING written by David Hein and Irene Sankoff, the writing team behind the hit musical Come from Away.
