Audition Guidelines:


Typically auditions consist of cold readings from the script. If auditioning for a musical, please prepare 16 bars of music. An accompanist will be provided.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before audition time to fill out any necessary paperwork. All auditions are held at the theatre at 3225 California Street, unless otherwise noted.

ATTENTION: From Shelterbelt With Love 11 auditions will take place next Mon-Tue (Nov. 14-15) at North Side Christian Church, 5555 Larimore Avenue, Omaha, starting at 7:00 pm.

From Shelterbelt With Love 11 is a collection of 9 new short plays dealing with love, loss and relationships. It's our annual love-fest for our fans! Playwrights this year include Omaha locals Amy Lane and Liz Mulhern, plus Alex Dremmen, Barbara Lindsay, Charles Lear, Jeff Carter, Nathaniel Lachenmeyer, John Davenport and Richard Klein.
There are numerous roles for men and women ranging in age from 20's to 40's+. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts.

This is going to be a great show, so get in on the fun! We are also looking for tech help and volunteers, so even if acting isn't your thing, contact us!

We will also be holding a reading of the show scripts on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 5 pm at North Side Christian Church, 5555 Larimore Avenue.

We are always looking for new faces and talent! Even if you have NO previous stage experience, you are always welcome to audition, or to volunteer to help out with any of our productions! We are looking for production staff too - lighting design, sound design, stage managers, backstage assistants, directors, booth operators and other technical help!
